Fatafehi Tamale

Born and raised in Tonga, and then migrated to Aotearoa in 2000, Fatafehi Tamale is of Tongan decent.

Fatafehi began her career with us as the receptionist of our Onehunga Branch. As the first face many of our families would see when they walked into the branch, Fatafehi played a key role in assisting our grieving families with general and administrational enquiries. From here, Fatafehi came to discover where her real strengths and passion laid, and that was in Funeral assisting and directing.

As a strong member of the Ellerslie Tongan Methodist church, Fatafehi plays an invaluable role with helping our Tongan and other Pacific Island families.

Fatafehi states: “I love what I do because I know I’m a making a real impact in the lives of those we serve, particularly my Tongan people”.
